Match Report Press Report

Winchester 1 Beat Lee-on-Solent 1 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 5 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 9 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Thomas Trott, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 89 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Jon Foster.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Sam Miller, gaining 40 Ranking Points from the match.
